I’m Back: Dofody 3.0, AI, and My Shift from Consultant to Educator

It feels like it was just yesterday that I was recording episodes daily, but looking at the calendar, it has been a huge gap of over a year since I last updated you here. A lot has changed since I was documenting the migration of patient records and setting up servers. Silence doesn't mean inactivity; in fact, it often means we are building something substantial.

Dofody is Flying Stable I am thrilled to report that Dofody is now flying stable. Back when I was discussing the transition to OpenEMR, it felt like a massive undertaking involving freelancers and server configurations. Today, that vision is a reality. The EMR software is completely revamped. What makes it even more efficient is that it is now managed with the help of AI.

As I’ve mentioned before, integrating artificial intelligence—whether it’s using ChatGPT for business ideas or utilizing AI on the Pixel phone—is a game-changer for accessibility and productivity. Google Workspace has also influenced our operations incredibly, streamlining how we handle the day-to-day management of the platform.

From Consultant to Creator One of the biggest internal shifts I’ve experienced over this last year is a change in how I view my time. I am slowly switching from being purely a consultant to becoming a content creator and educator. I realized that to scale my impact, I need to move beyond one-on-one interactions.

To that end, I have launched 3 new courses on Dofody. I call these "Protocols." They are all in Malayalam, catering specifically to our local community. To ensure these get the attention they deserve, I have restarted Google Ads to promote them. This aligns with my long-standing belief that we must market our skills to provide value to others.

Current Challenges and The Road Ahead Of course, entrepreneurship is never without its bumps. Currently, we are in a bit of a stopgap period. My clinical coordinator nurse has resigned, and the new hire won't be joining until next week. It reminds me of the importance of having the right team and personal assistants to keep the ship moving.

What to Expect I am committing to a new schedule: I will be blogging and recording a podcast once a week. I want to get back to sharing the journey, the tools, and the strategies that help us break barriers.

I also did a lot of reading during this hiatus. I know how much value we can get from the right books, just like I learned from Outliers about the 10,000-hour rule. I will update you on the books I read in the last year in next week's post.

Thank you for sticking around. We are back in business.
